Flow Measurement
Flowmeters for the measurement of gases and liquids.
Thanks to various technologies such as ultrasonic, vortex, electromagnetic and differential pressure flowmeters, we have a solution for the most diverse applications.
Rotameters
Also known as “Ludion flowmeters” or “Float flowmeters”.
Rotameters or variable area flowmeters are very simple mechanical flowmeters. They can be used for both gases and liquids.
They provide a visual indication of the flow level by mechanical means, with the advantage of not requiring a power supply.

Electromagnetic flowmeters
Flow measurement using the conductivity principle.
They can be used wherever the flow of a conductive liquid needs to be measured, whatever the industrial sector: chemical, pharmaceutical, paper, food or water treatment.
Non-intrusive ultrasonic flowmeters for liquids
Non-intrusive, for measuring liquid flow without having to cut the pipe (clamp-on).
These devices use the transit time difference measurement principle and are particularly suitable for measuring liquids (temperatures from -40 to +200°C).
Ultrasonic flowmeters for saturated steam
Non-intrusive, to measure steam flow without having to cut the pipe (clamp-on).
Non-intrusive saturated-steam ultrasonic flowmeter capable of measuring steam flow without clamp-on.
It used to be difficult to measure the steam flow used in plants in various industrial sectors, but this flowmeter can now be installed even when the equipment is running.
Measure steam flow precisely, thanks to new noise-reduction technology, whatever the pressure (from 0.1 MPa (G)) and temperature conditions (up to 180°C).
Ultrasonic flowmeter for air
For air flow measurement, our ultrasonic flowmeters offer many advantages:
- Simple, fast and cost-effective installation, with no need for wiring (self-contained battery) or piping modifications.
- Real-time compressed air and nitrogen consumption clearly displayed on large rotating LCD screen.
- Early detection of air leaks.
- Low maintenance costs. No filter required. Highly resistant to contaminated fluids.
- Measurement reliability and accuracy. Mass flow (integrated pressure and temperature correction).
- Bi-directional, lossless ultrasonic technology.
- Designed to last in harsh environments
- Numerous pipe diameters (Ø25 to Ø200mm)
- Lithium-ion battery version (10-year service life)
- Different flow conversion formulas: instantaneous flow can be converted into Nm3/h (flow rate reduced to a temperature of 0°C and atmospheric pressure of 101.3 kPa) or standard m3/h (flow rate reduced to a user-defined temperature and pressure).
- Enables bidirectional flow measurement
Differential pressure flow measurement
The most common, reliable and cost-effective flow measurement technology.
The most commonly used flow measurement principle for liquids, gases and steam is differential pressure flow measurement. By creating a constraint on fluid flow, causing an increase in flow velocity, a pressure drop occurs (according to the law of conservation of energy and Bernoulli's theorem). By measuring this pressure difference, we can deduce the flow rate. It's an economical system, and a robust, proven technology.
Depressant elements such as orifice plates, venturis, nozzles, Pitot tubes, measuring cones (V-cone ®) and wedge flowmeters are designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with current standards. Coupled with a differential pressure transmitter, they offer guaranteed accuracy, repeatability and precision without the need for calibration.
Specific solutions can also be proposed to reduce straight lengths (multi-hole plates), reduce sources of leakage (compact flowmeter), increase measurement accuracy (measurement section) or increase rangeability (dual transmitters).
