Elneo's history begins in...
1968
Creation of Technofluid
Creation of Technofluid S.A. in Belgium by Claire and Henri Bouhy in partnership with Norgren to market their pneumatic equipment. This was the birth of what would later become Groupe Elneo.
1979
Launch of the Compressors business unit
1986
Launch of the Instruments business unit
1987
Taken over by the 2nd generation of the family
Jean-Luc and Michel Bouhy take over the management of the company, and in 1994 Jean-Luc Bouhy takes over alone.
1995
ISO9001 certification obtained
2004
A human and profitable company
Change of corporate culture and renewal of the company's graphic charter to match this new dynamic. This new corporate culture, launched and supported by Jean-Luc Bouhy, released a lot of energy and is the main reason for the strong growth experienced since then.
2005
Creation of the B.I.P company
Birth of Belgian Instrumentation Product (B.I.P.) for the distribution of our instrumentation equipment in Flanders (northern part of Belgium). This company is still part of the Elneo Group today.
2008 & 2011
New offices
In 2008, the new building for the Liège site was constructed in Awans on the edge of the freeway, following a vote in favor of the project by employees. In 2011, a very similar building was constructed in Wetteren (Ghent) to accommodate the Dutch-speaking team. Both buildings ensure that everyone feels at home in their own workspace.
2012
Technofluid becomes Elneo !
The aim of this name change was to give greater visibility to each of our departments. We now have different logos and colors for our 3 departments: pneumatics, compressors and instrumentation.
2016
Taken over by the 3rd generation
Takeover of the company (management and shares) by the 3rd generation of the family with Jonathan and Mathieu Bouhy.
2018
Elneo celebrates its 50th anniversary!
2019
Launch of Elneo France
Since 2019, Elneo has been active in France for all your instrumentation projects, drawing on over 55 years' experience in the field! This marks the birth of Elneo France, the Elneo Group's first subsidiary outside Belgium.
2021
Elneo wins Best Managed Companies award!
In 2021, Elneo was awarded the “Best Managed Companies” label by Deloitte. We have renewed this award every year since, and are now a gold winner (more than 3 consecutive years).
We join a worldwide network of companies recognized for their organizational excellence.
2024
Launch of Elneo Partners
In early 2024, Jonathan Bouhy takes over sole management of the Elneo Group, and launches an ambitious participative shareholding program. A total of 31 colleagues become shareholders in the Elneo Group. This project is fully in line with Groupe Elneo's vision: “Growing together”. This shareholding transformation is a new lever to ensure a prosperous future for our company.
Launch of Elneo Canada
Active for over 55 years in the industrial fluids sector, first in Belgium and then in France, Elneo opens a second international office with the opening of Elneo Canada. We're proud to be able to build this bridge across the Atlantic to serve Canadian industries!
